Privacy Policy

Effective October 28, 2026

copy anywhere (the "Service") moves text and files between your devices with a one-time code. This policy explains what we handle, why, and for how long. In short: no accounts and no advertising; what you share is deleted within minutes; the server records visits and activity with your IP address for 90 days; and a statistics cookie is used only if you allow it.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Infoneto Ltd, Israel. Contact: info@infoneto.com.

2. What you share

3. What the server records

For each page or file requested and each action (sharing or receiving text or a file, a download, a click on a Copy button, a wrong code), the server records the time, your IP address, your browser's identification (User-Agent), whether you use a phone or a computer, the website that linked to the page (its name, and the search words if the search engine sends them) and the size of shared files. It never records shared text, codes or file names.

These records carry a visitor ID: the statistics cookie's ID if you allowed it (see section 5), otherwise a code made from your IP address and browser identification with a random value that changes every day, so without the cookie we recognize your browser for one day only. The records are kept for 90 days and then deleted. Daily totals without IP addresses or visitor IDs are kept for about 25 months. The server's security logs are kept for 30 days, and the web server in front of the Service keeps standard access logs for the same purpose.

4. How we use the records

Only the operator sees them, in a password-protected dashboard: visits and unique visitors per day, week and month; which pages are used, including by search engines and other crawlers; where visitors come from; and how often each visitor shares, receives and copies text and files, with the total size. We use them to keep the Service secure, to stop abuse and to improve the Service. We do not sell them, build advertising profiles or use third-party analytics, advertising or social-media tools.

5. Cookies and browser storage

A necessary cookie remembers that you accepted the Terms of Service:

Nameca_terms
PurposeRemembers that you accepted the Terms of Service, so you are not asked on every visit
ContentThe version of the Terms you accepted; no identifier
Duration12 months
TypeFirst-party, strictly necessary

A statistics cookie is set only if you choose "Allow" in the cookie notice:

Nameca_vid
PurposeRecognizes your browser on later visits, so visits and activity can be counted per visitor (section 4)
ContentA random ID; 0 if you chose "Decline", which only remembers your choice
Duration12 months
TypeFirst-party, statistics, only with your consent

You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page, or delete the cookies in your browser settings. Records already made stay until they are deleted after 90 days.

The page also keeps two small items in your browser, which are never sent to us: the language you picked (until you clear your browser data) and the file you just received in that tab, so a reload doesn't lose it (until you close the tab).

6. Why we may do this

We handle shared text and files to provide the Service you ask for. We keep the server records in our legitimate interest in keeping the Service secure, stopping abuse and understanding how it is used. We use the statistics cookie only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

7. Who else sees it

We do not sell or rent information and do not share it for advertising. If the servers that run the Service are hosted by a provider, that provider handles the data only on our behalf. We may disclose information when the law requires it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete information about you, to object to its use, and to complain to a data protection authority (in Israel, the Privacy Protection Authority). Write to info@infoneto.com, with your IP address and the time of your visit or the statistics cookie's ID, so we can find your records.

9. Children

The Service is meant for people aged 18 and over.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with its date.
